Welcome to Anthony Haste Golf
Anthony qualified as a PGA professional at the world renound, The Belfry. He undertook a variety of roles including that of teaching professional, golf sales account manager, golf operations manager and custom fit specialist for PING. This has enabled Anthony to have an excellent knowledge of the golfing industry. After 7 years at the Belfry Anthony moved to The Tytherington Club in Cheshire in 2008 as their Head Professional and Head of golf. He joined us in at the start of 2015 as Head professional and Director of Golf here at Breedon Priory Golf Centre.
For the past 18 years he has studied the mechanics and physics of the golf swing and has gained extensive knowledge from attending PGA workshops and seminars with some of the Worlds’ Best Coaches, including: David Leadbetter, Dr Paul Hurrion, Butch Harmon, John Jacobs, Scot Cranfield, Dr Karl Morris, Pete Cowan and Gary Alliss. This has enabled him to develop his own teaching ethos and style coaching golfers to enable them to achieve their individual goals and aspirations. He has experience of coaching all levels of ability from complete beginners through to elite amateurs and professionals of all ages both on an individual and group basis including corporate golf clinics, fun zones and video lessons (including MAT-T, Quintic, GASP and V1). Anthony coached the Oxford University team and from September 2005 to March 2007 was selected as the English Deaf Golfers Association Coach. He has increased the uptake of participants to the Cheshire Golf Partnership through the ‘Get into golf’ programme as a recognised County Development Coach and developed the skills of talented juniors on the County academy programme as a County Academy Coach. He has taken a proactive approach to developing young golfers, building partnerships with local schools and promoting golf as a sport to future generations.
